Keep your favourite clothes in rotation indefinitely with the Japanese art of sashiko.

Learn to restore well-loved garments with the Japanese art of sashiko, an embroidery technique used to restore, reinforce and decorate textiles.
Bring a garment to repair or learn on scrap fabric. 

This is a 16+ program. Please note that we are unable to accommodate guests and/or children of registered participants.

About the Library

The Bracebridge Library is located within the Muskoka Lumber Community Centre at 34 Salmon Avenue. It is a state-of-the-art facility with a makerspace, recording studio, rooms for studying and meeting, and so much more for you to explore!

Whether you are looking to register for a program or book a room, you need a valid Bracebridge Library card. You can renew your existing card or apply for a new one on our website
