Create a stunning wooden orca wall hanging using scroll saws, carving tools, and paint. A hands-on intro to the art of scroll saw intarsia. Dress for dust and creativity!
Get ready to roll up your sleeves—this hands-on workshop will leave you a little dusty, but incredibly proud.
In this small-group session, you'll be introduced to the art of scroll saw intarsia. Learn to safely use a scroll saw as you cut out the pieces of a charming orca whale from soft white pine. Then carve, sand, seal, and paint each piece before assembling your finished design into a beautiful wall hanging.
By the end, you’ll not only have a stunning handmade orca—you might just be hooked on the creative possibilities of scroll saw crafting!
Please dress for sawdust and paint—we’re getting creative!
