Ever wanted to learn the art of calligraphy? Let's dip into it!
In this program we will learn the building blocks of Textura Quadrata, a gothic style of blackletter calligraphy.
We will learn how to use a dip pen and other calligraphy tools, what a stroke pattern is, and how to put it all together.
Each class we will visit a different letter group, making our way through alphabet one session at a time.
Remember: practice makes progress, and together we will learn the art and skill of beautiful lettering!

About the Library
The Bracebridge Library is located within the Muskoka Lumber Community Centre at 34 Salmon Avenue. It is a state-of-the-art facility featuring a Makerspace, Recording Studio, study rooms, meeting rooms, and much more for you to explore!
