Lyle and Margaret Cathcart Board RoomThis children’s grief program offers a supportive environment where kids can explore their feelings and learn healthy ways to cope after the death of someone important to them.
Children process grief in many different ways, and having a safe space to talk, create, and connect can make a meaningful difference. This children’s grief program offers a supportive environment where kids can explore their feelings and learn healthy ways to cope after the death of someone important to them.
Through age-appropriate crafts, games, and guided discussions, participants will learn about grief, develop coping tools, and gain strategies for managing challenging emotions. The program is designed to help children understand that their feelings are normal and that they are not alone in their experience.
This group is open to children ages 6–12 who have experienced a death-related loss. Participation requires registration as a client of Hospice Muskoka.
