A relaxed afternoon for moms to connect, create and build new friendships. Move at your own pace between simple activity stations designed to help you meet other moms in a friendly environment.
The Mom Social is a relaxed, station-based program designed to help moms meet new people and build connections in the community.
Participants are free to move between activity stations at their own pace, making it easy to join conversations naturally while enjoying simple, creative activities. The focus is not on the finished product, but on connection, conversation, and community.
Stations include:
Watercolor Bookmark Station
Create simple bookmarks using watercolors or markers. Add names, words of encouragement, or creative designs. This calm, creative space naturally encourages easy conversation.
Coloring Station
Enjoy themed coloring sheets featuring nature, cozy scenes, and positive quotes. A low-pressure activity that helps people relax and chat comfortably while creating.
Puzzle Table
Work together on one or two large puzzles in a shared space. Participants can come and go, contributing pieces while naturally engaging in conversation and teamwork.
Conversation Dice / Prompt Station
Use dice or prompt cards with simple questions. This station is designed to spark meaningful conversations and help moms connect more intentionally.
There will also be some other fun activities set up!
The goal of The Mom Social is to create a welcoming space where moms can slow down, enjoy a simple activity, and leave feeling more connected to others in their community.

About the Library
The Bracebridge Library is located within the Muskoka Lumber Community Centre at 34 Salmon Avenue. It is a state-of-the-art facility featuring a Makerspace, Recording Studio, study rooms, meeting rooms, and much more for you to explore!

Whether you are registering for a program or booking a room, you need a valid Bracebridge Library card. You can renew your existing card or apply for a new one online or in person.
