Would you like to know how to write in beautiful flowing script? Let's dip into it! From beginners to seasoned scribes, all are welcome.

Ever wanted to learn the art of calligraphy? Let's dip into it!

 

In this program we'll learn the building blocks of Copperplate calligraphy, a flowing cursive style of calligraphy popular on wedding invitations, greeting cards and more!

We will learn how to use a dip pen and other calligraphy tools, what a stroke pattern is, and how to put it all together.

Each class we will visit a different letter group, making our way through alphabet one session at a time.

Remember: practice makes progress, and together we will learn the art and skill of beautiful lettering!

 

From beginners to seasoned scribes, all are welcome.

About the Library

The Bracebridge Library is located within the Muskoka Lumber Community Centre at 34 Salmon Avenue. It is a state-of-the-art facility featuring a Makerspace, Recording Studio, study rooms, meeting rooms, and much more for you to explore!

If you want to see which programs you are registered for, you can do that on our website.

You can book one of the library's rooms online, too!

Whether you are registering for a program or booking a room, you need a valid Bracebridge Library card. You can renew your existing card or apply for a new one online or in person.
