MacKay Family MakerspaceWant to learn how to sew? Join us to make a handy elastic bookmark with 2 fabric pockets for your pens! Perfect for journals, planners, and binders. Bring your notebook so we can measure the elastic.
Learn to sew by making your own journaling bookmark to hold your pen! In this beginner program, we'll use pre-cut fabric to make an elastic bookmark with a fabric pocket for your writing tools.
Children under 14 may attend with a parent or guardian. One registration is required per sewing machine; children and their accompanying adult will share one machine.
Don't forget to bring your notebook! You'll need it to measure the elastic.
Bracebridge Library
The Bracebridge Library is located within the Muskoka Lumber Community Centre at 34 Salmon Avenue. It is a state-of-the-art facility featuring a Makerspace, Recording Studio, study rooms, meeting rooms, and much more for you to explore!
