A beginners entry into the paths to 3d printing and the final process.

In this special session designed for homeschoolers, students will get a behind-the-scenes look at the world of 3D printing!

We’ll explore the steps that come before the printer even starts, including:

  • Browsing online libraries of printable designs
  • A quick intro to beginner-friendly CAD (computer-aided design) tools
  • How slicer software prepares your model for printing
  • Transferring files to the printer and, time permitting, watching the printer in action!

A great introduction for curious minds who want to learn how digital designs become real-world objects.
